I have been to Cuyagua twice and I hope to go again. The drive is beautiful, as are the surroundings at the beach. Although not as comfortable as staying in Choroni, the environment is very similar, as they are both in Henri Pittier National Park. What Cuyagua lacks in creature comforts it makes up for with spectacular waves and rustic authenticity.  June 1999 September 1999 |
